I have looked for days to find some sample code for how to get just the driving directions to be displayed when a user first hits our "visit us" webpage and have been unsuccessful. I'm sure it's easy but I do not quite know where to start. Can someone please point me to a resource that may have sample code that shows how I can show the map image centered on a default location with just a textfield asking the user to enter their starting point and then shows the text directions and route on the map in the same page? If it makes a difference we're using dotNet 2.0 on .aspx pages from a MasterPage template.
I have already searched the econym.org.uk site but he assumes I already know how to get the thing up and running, as he focuses on more intricate issues. The Google maps API documentation has no beginner code samples from what I can see. For clarification, I'm not asking for anyone to "do it for me", I just need a gentle push in the right direction. Thanks for anyone's help! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
