If you can handle a rough estimate using nothing but the zip code, you
could purchase a license to a zip code centroid database and join your
address file with it to get at least something. You'll need to
geographically locate your addresses with a latitude and longitude
coordinate to do anything with the maps, so that would be the place to
start. If this isn't an option, as you indicate, then you're going to
have a really hard time doing anything with maps.
