Ralph Let me try to explain in detail.
I have two text box (From Date and To Date) and 1 drop down which will contain User Drop Down and 1 Submit button. First user will enter From Date. To Date and select the user name from pull down and thne he will click on submit button. Then I will fetch records from an xml which has Longitude, latitude, username, date attributes and display marker depending on latitude and longitude on Map. Let me know if you need more information.
