I am looking to be able add info about the Florida Township/Range to the maps wether its a grid/polyline overlay or text or just text below the map.
Is there someting in the API that converts a lat/long to the FL township/range system. If your not familiar: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Bluffs/3010/landsyst.htm Outlines what this system is. What I am after is to do something along: the API, function or formula etc. should accept: LatIn = 27.9398; LogIn = -81.9868; and output: 01N01W01 (EXAMPLE, this is NOT VALID CONVERSION) 01N is township 01W is the range and 01 is the section of the box. any one have pointers on doing this.
