I've posted this previously and gotten some advice on this but none of it has panned out. I have a website (http://neworleans.iprojweb.com/ publicworks/dpwmap.aspx) that was working fine at the end of March and without any changes has since failed to work when rendering line data. The site works fine if I elimate the line data but if I have the line data involved I get an unresponsive script and the browser hangs. I was told previously that the problem seemed to be involved with the map.setCenter functionality but I've not found that to be the case. If you use the website and select the neighborhood of "Algiers Point" and select "School Zone Beacons" and hit the "search" button you will duplicate the problem-- I've looked at this as much as I can possibly afford to and still can't find the problem. I think someone that knows the internal aspects of the google API may be able to solve this since it is getting into an infinite loop within the API code itself after our website code has executed (this is due to the asynchronous nature of the API I would assume). I'm sure there is something setup incorrectly in terms of setting up the call to "fromEncoded" but I've actually used other hard-coded values from other people's examples to this function and gotten the same result. I'm at a loss and I've spent a tremendous amount of time on this.
Thanks to anyone willing to take a look. NWOP. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
