If you register for http://localhost, then my understanding is that it
will work for https://localhost.
If your local webserver is on a private network, then free API keys
don't work for IP addresses in the ranges, whether they're http or https
10.0.0.0 – 10.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 – 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 – 192.168.255.255
