Using a click event on a Polyline, I am able to get the LatLng, but I would also like to identify the LatLngs on both sides of the click point. Initially I started using a standard cross product calculation to identify the if the latlng rests between each vertex pair on the Polyline. But I am quickly running into precision issues around the epsilon and different zoom levels of the map.
Are there any other parts of the Map api that might help me out in this area. It seems like it should be reasonable that the API provide the location relative to the polyline of a click, rather than just a LatLng. Your help is greatly appreciated. thanks! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
