Does anyone have an idea why sensor parameter was introduced?

"You must indicate whether your application is using a sensor (such as
a GPS locator) to determine the user's location."

There are not very many devices with JavaScript accessible GPS data
today. The only one that I know is Blackberry.

Does "such as a GPS locator" mean also wifi or cell station based
locators?

Does Google server return a different script with sensor=true?

What does mean: "whether your application is using a sensor"?
