i was looking after this either, and i´ve found 10.1 topic in license
terms
but if i use the javascript api provided by google and the bridge
between silverlight and google maps was that provided api...

the silverlight would be just a visual wrapper... so in this
particular case..i guess 10.1 term it´s not very clear about it
and like our friend Nelson pointed out, it could be granted to use in
that manner.

im looking after this, cause, my intent its to create a portal only
RIA, and im using silverlight , because of the integration with
other .net tecnologies
and it would be useful for me.

Host it in html manner could bring me a lot of problems interacting
with other controls natively in silverlight
besides i can use silverlight graphicals tools and behaviors to create
more attractive effects.

Can i do this? the control and the code behind it could be open and
free to others that could need this too .

I dont think that would be against google´s policy, cause even if this
is using microsoft tecnology, it can be used in mono/linux and macs
and it will help popularize google maps tecnology.

why this could be against the policy?
