Hi all,

I'm quite impressed by the Google Map here:

http://www.globrix.com/property/buy/darlington?ns=true
<http://www.globrix.com/property/buy/darlington?ns=true&rd=1&br=buy&qt=darli
ngton&keyword_field> &rd=1&br=buy&qt=darlington&keyword_field=

(If it doesn't show up automatically, click "Search via map" near the top of
the page)

They have little bubbles which open on hover, but they are positioned
according to the marker position on the map - meaning the map doesn't have
to scroll to accommodate it. If the marker is on the left hand side of the
map the window opens to the right, and vice versa - then if you scroll and a
marker previously on the right is now on the LEFT, the window opens to the
right. It also works for markers near the top or bottom - in short, the map
never has to scroll to show the windows like it would if they were just
opening above the marker with the default behaviour.

Is this something they've achieved using readily available extensions or
plugins or something they've managed to roll themselves?

Regards,

Michael Price
