There seems to be an issue with geoxml.js. Firefox is waiting for ever for that to arrive. The first time I tried it, Firefox crashed. It loads in IE, though, but as you say there is no map and no errors. It does look like you should be running into cross-domain issues trying to get data from http://johnphillipsresume.googlepages.com. It would be easier to see what's actually going on if I could get it to load in Firefox...
