then the most likely problem is that there's a broken copy of something
significant stuck in your MSIE cache.
If it only fails in your local copy, then you broke something when you
tried to set a correct value for "key" and/or "sensor". Because you're
testing on your local machine, the key validation is bypassed. A random
key works on your local machine.
