I want to add labels on top of my marker icons (like mouseover tooltips), only these labels should appear when the maps loads and should not be invoked by any actions (like mouseover). I was very close to making this happen with PopupMarker (http://gmaps- utility-library.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/popupmarker/1.0/docs/ reference.html) but the only problem was PopupMarker does not take any custom icon markers and only uses the default red icon from google. Is there a way to do this?
