Hi, I have the same problem in my map, redrawing complex polygon takes a lot of time. My map is here: http://massaliavida.free.fr/map/mapkml.html They are encoded polygons through Dyas' GeoXml Parser and I wonder how make things faster.
Dorian, when you're talking about png, it seems to be a good idea to me, but: 1. How to get the exact shape of my poly (I only have the coordinates of its points) 2. Does it handle onclick, onmouseover/out events quickly I would prefer using GeoXml overlays in order to use the KML parser and its many features. How could I simplify my poly easily in order to reduce the number of points without loosing the shape aspect and then reduce the redraw delay? What would be the best API version in order to fix this too? Thanks for your support.
