Hi All,
I am lovin' experimenting with the Google Maps API and all that is
possible with it.

But I now have a specific need for a MAP on a personal project and my
searches for info seem to have turned up very little on the
subject......

What I have is an xml file that changes its data every 60 seconds. I
would like to use LONG and LAT and a SPEED value from the file to
recenter the map each time. However I need a smooth continual motion
of the map not a jump from 1 point to the next every 60 seconds.

Essentially I am tracking a moving object and would like to display
its movments on a moving map. Behind the marker I want to leave a
polyline "trail" of the passage of the object over time.

The object will be in motion for approximately 10 hours and visitors
to my Map page may visit at any time during the 10 hours and I would
like them to be able to see where the object is now and watch its
movments, but also see the route it has taken so far.

I am becoming familier with the API, but need a little more help on
getting the map moving ! :-)

Any help getting my project moving ( pardon the pun! ) would be very
much appreciated.

Thanks to All

Ian
