If you paid for this, perhaps you should be consulting your supplier? If you do a view source in your browser on your affected pages, look for the lines like new GSmapSearchControl( ... ); On the one that works http://mcssafehomes.com/?p=285 it looks like new GSmapSearchControl( document.getElementById("mapsearch"), ", San Rafael, CA Ecology House Apartments, 94901", and shows you a map that it thinks best matches the address ", San Rafael, CA Ecology House Apartments, 94901" On this example that doesn't work http://mcssafehomes.com/?p=105 it looks like new GSmapSearchControl( document.getElementById("mapsearch"), ", ", and it can't find any map that best represents the address ", " so it is defaulting to Google's office. On this example that doesn't work http://mcssafehomes.com/?p=52 it looks like new GSmapSearchControl( document.getElementById("mapsearch"), ", Kingman, AZ 6 Acre parcel – no pesticides, 86409", which a human might work out is an address, but the map struggles with, and again only gives you the default. If I paste ", Kingman, AZ 6 Acre parcel – no pesticides, 86409" into maps.google.com it can't really work it out either, although it guesses it ought to be Kingman AZ but that won't really do for your webpage. I've no idea how the address data gets inserted into your pages or where it comes from, but that looks like the process that needs attention. cheers, Ross K --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
