I appreciate that you would like an answer, but it's possible that the only person who can help is Bill. I think the problem is that the polyline script makes an assumption about the order in which lines are drawn, and that assumption is incorrect in certain cases -- probably because a line is not drawn if it's completely outside the map tile area. This could be the case if you zoom in on one particular line. But this isn't actually a query about the Maps API: it's a query about the BDCC add-on scripts, I think.
