I am trying to build an app that using long/lat and a preset radius (100 ft) will return a list of all nearest places, including place names that appear on Google Maps (e.g. train station name, neighbourhood name) and businesses (hotels/restaurants/train stations)
Example: A search for 40.713000, -74.010580, 100ft radius should return World Trade Center Station, Ground Zero and a list of the local businesses in 100ft radius. The Google Maps tile is: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=40.713000,+-74.010580&vps=3&jsv=160h&sll=40.720461,-74.006588&sspn=0.003814,0.009613&ie=UTF8&geocode=FSg7bQIdLLCW-w&split=0 Is there any easy way to return all business & 'place names' ? If you could please offer any advice as to how to do so I would greatly appreciate it.
