This is really incredibly strange. I'm currently developing a map on a restricted web page that I unfortunately can't give a link to... I'll try to see if I can duplicate it at some point with some non- sensitive data if I need to.
In any case, I've noticed for the past few days that as soon as the minute hand hits 00, my page fails to load for 15 minutes and is stuck saying "Waiting for gg.google.com". After that 15 minutes, it works fine again for another 45 minutes. I'm using Firefox 3.0.11 on my linux box and 3.0.10 on my mac, and both have the problem. I saw that Firebug users recently experienced a similar problem, but I'm not using Firebug. Oddly enough, a different map I'm using on the public side of the site is working just fine: http://bowser.cs.umd.edu/geoman/participate.php or https://bowser.cs.umd.edu/geoman/participate.php : I should warn you that my server will attempt to ping your IP address once if you visit the site, to see if you have pings enabled and are thus eligible to participate in some experiments I'm doing. I'll try to provide some more information when I can, but for now hopefully someone might find this useful or have some clue about what's going on... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
