The easiest way to find out is to try it. Use an API map like John's at http://maps.huge.info/pinpointaddress.htm and enter the coordinates in the box. There isn't a zoom control on that map, so double-clicking near the marker will zoom in. Do remember the Terms of Service: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/terms.html -- in particular, review sections 9.1 and 10.14(a) just to make sure that you can publicise a person's position. Do also bear in mind that the accuracy of GPS units and maps/satellite images may not be enough for your purpose.
