That's right, they are examples of how to go about it. You would need to adapt the server-side code to your needs. After all, its only about outputting XML from sqlserver2005. That part isn't about maps at all. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=output+xml+from+sqlserver2005&btnG=Google+Search&meta=&aq=f&oq= Once you can output XML, all the client-side html, javascript and maps stuff is the same. If you can't manage that, the project may be beyond your current skills.
