Google Maps API is not a good tool for optimizing delivery routes, 
particularly ones with multiple stops to be visited in an optimal order. 
If you've got more than five or six stops to consider, it's likely to be 
rather slow. I suggest looking elsewhere for a more appropriate tool.

If you must use Google Maps API, then consider doing the bulk of the 
calculations with straight line distances, producing a small number of 
candidate routes, and then checking the durations of those candidate 
routes with GDirections, using .loadFromWaypoints().
