Fails for me at that stage in FF2 - blows out on
var nodes=xmlDoc.selectNodes("markers/marker[" + i + "]");
in addSelected_Firefox() with "xmlDoc.selectNodes is not a function"
I can't unravel what's supposed to be going on there.
