The prior is what my site originally used:
marker.openInfoWindowHtml(html, {maxWidth:200, buttons:{close:
{visible: false}}});
However, for some reason, the "close" button does not disappear in
FireFox. What is more, when this line is active it causes the
following error to appear in IE browsers:
(In http://maps.gstatic.com/intl/fi_ALL/mapfiles/159e/maps2.api/main.js)

This change happened without modification on our end, so I can only
assume that something changed in Google's backend code. Has the
"close" button been renamed, or is there another method now of hiding
this button?
