Pietschey, You're in luck as I do have some time to work on this today and I'm feeling very generous :)
I can work on this and make this VERY sweet functionality for you, but I need you to provide a couple of things so that I can do this right.. 1) Complete list of teams in your league * name and street address (i'll setup a geocoding functionality) * link to website and team image icon (if you have one) Note that including the geocoding functionality will make it much easier for you to maintain the base data file. 2) Complete list of match games * name of opponent * date and time Then what i'll do is make this very easy so that all you will have to do is maintain one very simple XML file, which will automatically reflect any changes to your map. This will be much easier than having to change code, as all you'll have to do is edit the XML file. What i'm thinking is adding a few nodes to the XML file that will allow you to not only provide the functionality that you want, but also be able to put in the score so that when you click on a marker, you'll see a list of games, including those already played, along with a complete list of upcoming games, and scores for games already played. if you'd like, we could also add functionality that allows you to maintain the standing for each team (e.g. 10 wins 2 losses) also, i was thinking about adding functionality that allows you to just keep adding year after year to the XML file, which would allow the user to select a year and see results for that year. anyway, if this is overkill, i won't bother...in any case, at least provide the list of games for 2009 and the list of teams and field addresses and I can get this running sometime tonight. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, do you need language considerations for the map?
