Damn it - you are right it's working in any browser, beside from FF3.0.xx or FF3.5. But what do you mean with " try specifying the map size in the GMap2 setting" do you mean the zoomlevel and map position with map.setCenter() or map.zoomIn() etc.? But how would I get the right zoom level and the right position - the route is created by the user and I never now the start and endpoints. Thats why I was asking in my first post if there is a method in the directions or map objekt which I can use to bring the map to the right size and position for the actual route? I couldn't find anything in the documentation.
