What you didn't say is that we're supposed to click on 'English' or the other choice that doesn't render in my browser. Now in FF2 or IE6, map with no scrollbars, and a complaint that I don't have G. Gears (yes, I don't) This errors <body onUnload="GUnload()"> perhaps because GWT loads the maps API after document ready.
