Sorry Larry, now I see what you mean.  The epoly method it is, will do
pretty much what I need.

I am just playing around trying to do my own version of www.mapmyrun.com
and have my polylines and distances working but wasn't sure how to get
the points between the plotted waypoints to work out the elevation
profile for the whole route.
