Hello, I'm having a little trouble figuring out how I'm going to put together this feature for my web application. Basically, I want a very minimalist visualization of whatever city in the world I choose. The best way I can explain it is by example:
Let's say I wanted to visualize Nashville, TN. I would want my map to show only an outline of the United States, an outline of Tennessee, and a marker where Nashville is. No labels or anything. I'd like the map to be a static, pre-rendered image. The easiest thing I thought of was using shapefiles to render the the needed outlines... but you can't use shapefiles with the static maps API. Does anyone have any suggestions? -Hunter --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
