Thought I should provide another data point concerning this problem. I had the same symptom for a Web service that I am developing using GoogleMap in Firefox 3.0.12 and after installing Firefox 3.0.13 (today). As mentioned by jef, Firebug reports "204 No Content" while accessing site gg.google.com for the following url: http://gg.google.com/csi?v=3&s=mapsapi&action=apiboot&rt=d.0,e.333,ab1.359
I am also running Firebug 1.3.3. While this is happening, if one clicks X in the browser and performs a refresh, the page then loads. Disabling Firebug 1.3.3 on the same pages does not yield the problem. Any possibilities of resolution from GoogleMaps point of view?
