You can place as many markers on a map as you want. The more you place, the slower the map is responding. Typically, after a few hundred markers, the map gets too slow to be practical. This depends on your clients browser and PC speed (IE is noticeably slower than Firefox, for example) On my PC, running Firefox or Chrome, I have no problem with 500 basic markers.
If you have more than a few hundred markers, you may want to investigate the use of a marker manager. There is a great article here which will be of help to you: http://www.svennerberg.com/2009/01/handling-large-amounts-of-markers-in-google-maps/ His test page will let you try for yourself: http://www.svennerberg.com/examples/markers/markerPerformance.html Regards, Mike Ethetton http://mappingcenter.org http://mastertoolworks.com On Aug 10, 1:42 am, Lasse <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi developers, > > Is it only possible to integrate 200 pins on a map?
