Playing with my map i see that on zoom level zero the map bounds when
converted to pixel points is:

SW (0, 330)

NE (256, -74)

Surely at zoom  level zero the range of pixel values is zero to 256?
And how does the conversion return a negative value?

Anyway thanks for the reply - i shall spend some time trying to find a
fix myself...
