Aim of my project - description of landmarks. The most interesting
landmarks on Google Maps shall be visible at any zoom level while the
less interesting - only at higher zoom levels. A kind of "weight" is
attributed to each landmark.
Landmarks with their latitudes, longitudes etc. are listed in separate
XML file. Would like to add zoom level in this XML file for each
marker - as additional attribute.
The map is shown in separate HTML file, which gets a link to the
mentioned XML file. At low zoom there should be seen only the "best"
monuments, at high zoom - all monuments within the sight.
Example of current map:
http://www.ambermarks.com/_Pieminekli/RigasMuizinas/RigasMuizinKarte.html
(not properly linked to the Website yet)
Sorry for foreign language there. Already now there are 209 monuments.
One day there could be more than 10000 within this sight. Do not want
clustering as I would consider this to be a kind of misinformation in
this case.
Should there be used some JavaScript programming or something else
instead? Have limited knowledge in JavaScript so far, sorry.
Would be very pleased about any assistance!
