Hi folks,

is there any possiblity to describe a polygon in a much shorter format
than using the lat lng of a polygon to reduce the amount of data?

I've seen something realy cool on the website of an german internet
provider:

http://entertain.eki.t-home.de/service/dslcheck/

They use this crazy format:
p_ia~epaleba...@sq?
e...@i@`...@wfbaeglqb@wcmcdc...@_bsf@ec_...@ydwgaa@ya...@eaw@a...@ib]
eCWuCK_E?
ucp...@wcl@g...@mcdeyh`bccpacavas@fayhainadhehataj`ag...@nbwabaabx@_...@}
b\\mbjkafycccby...@cbyw@uagc}j...@m@y...@{@
{...@k@c...@aac@caoa...@c@q...@cam@y...@gboccm

Unfortunately I don't have any idea how it works.

Would be cool if anyone of you got an idea.

cheers
