I don't mind guessing. I guess that u_marker is local and what you should be removing is markers[x] where x is the index of the marker in the array (however you're deciding which marker actually to remove). But there really isn't nearly enough information in your code snippet, which is why the posting guidelines ask for a link. That enables proper debugging.
