Hope I'm posting in the right place- if not, please redirect me. For accessibility reasons I'd like to display the same map data I've developed for Google Earth in Google Maps on my website. Problem is, Google Maps loaded the kml file and generated the map once... but the kml has since been updated and Maps still loads old data- changes are reflected in Google Earth but not in Maps.
The only way I've found to display the most current data is to change the file name/link every time I update the KML file. Any idea how long Maps caches the kml information? Any way to let Maps know the data has been updated or otherwise force a refresh?
