I've been using the GDirections object, and only until recently did I
notice that some errors I have been getting were because there is no
valid path between two points. I tried it on Google Maps, and the
results I'm getting are very strange. For example, there is no way to
get from Miami, FL to Mexico City, Mexico:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Miami,+FL&daddr=Mexico+City,+D.f.,+Mexico&geocode=&hl=en&mra=ls&sll=22.486732,-89.776963&sspn=22.973739,27.949219&ie=UTF8&z=5

Is there just no road network connecting the two? Or does it do that
because you have to get past security?

It happens within Mexico too:
http://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=Canc%C3%BAn,+Qr,+Mexico&geocode=CZ-se6RWDQd6FaiwQgEd0ADT-g&dirflg=&saddr=Mexico+City,+D.f.,+Mexico&f=d&hl=en&sll=21.163282,-86.835251&sspn=0.364349,0.436707&ie=UTF8&ll=21.248422,-96.37207&spn=23.166267,27.949219&z=5

This happens in other places, too:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=el+cerrito,+colombia&daddr=santiago,+chile&geocode=&hl=en&mra=ls&sll=-33.247876,-62.666016&sspn=20.849371,27.949219&ie=UTF8&z=5

so I'm thinking it's just something I'm doing wrong? Has anyone seen
this before?
