I think this is more a KML (or possibly even a Math!) question. Has
anyone seen an implementation of Google Maps where this functionality
exists:

1. Use KML to draw polygons using coordinates
2. Have a free text field for lat/long coords
3. When user enters lat/lng, the application returns information
relating to the node in the KML where the lat/lng is in the boundary.

Sorry if Im not explaining myself, anyone point me in the right
direction?
