*I* am not doing it - its Google...

<script src="http://maps.google.com/maps?file=api  etc.. etc....

When I load the screen - I often find part of the map shows, & a
'white' square is left - only for half a second, before it fills up
with the rest of the map...

Google does the maps / images in square blocks.. -
