Felipe, Eu vi seu exemplo e voce está calculando a distância percorrida de um ponto ao outro, considerando a rota. O que você quer é calcular a distância geográfica entre 2 pontos, então use o método distanceFrom(other:GLatLng<http://code.google.com/intl/pt-BR/apis/maps/documentation/reference.html#GLatLng>) da classe GLatLng
Felipe, I saw your page and you are calculating the distance based on directions between two points. As our friends posted before, you need to use the method distanceFrom(other:GLatLng<http://code.google.com/intl/pt-BR/apis/maps/documentation/reference.html#GLatLng>) of the GLatLng class.
