If you store the duration or whatever in a variable then it's
technically the question how to pass a variable to another page. There
are a few possibilities, not directly related to the Maps API.
I don't know if it's legal in every case, but I can imagine that it
could be legal on a page that is directly concerned with the result of
the directions query.
But I'm not a lawyer....
