Hi Martin,

  I looked at the examples from the link. my understanding is, th examples
are using custom overlays on top of the map to support highlighting sections
of the map like highlighting a country. but in the both examples listed
there the feature is limited if user drags a the map a big then there are no
overlays available.

thats why i was looking for more on highlighting the tiles so that i can be
applied to any section regardless of user movement on the map.
