A RSS feed can be viewed in web-browser, but is not limited to one.

Aside from the legal issues, there is also technical one, as a
publisher of a feed you dont know in what domain (if at all) the feed
will be displayed in, so you can't possibly attach the correct key to
the image. (A premier customer might be able by just using the client
param)
