My results will be in the thousands.  But, there will probably not be
any more than 30-40 per city, I'm thinking. I suppose if they are
there they should respond to user clicks.

I would like for users to be able to pan on the right side while the
pagination changes on the left side.  I think without the dots, it
would be like "flying blind" because the user really wouldn't know
what to zoom in on or pan to.

I want to investigate how difficult it will be, then I will decide
whether it is worth it.  If there are alternatives, I would like to
explore them too. I even thought about using a MarkerManager for the
small dots and just loading all of the thousands of results at once.
