Hi Eric, I think you might be missing my point, or else I was unclear.
The error message explicitly says the ~gwt.xml file is missing from
the classpath. Tell me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure you would
never explicitly specify the ~gwt.xml file in the classpath, but would
rather expect the compiler to find  that file either in its related
jar or class library (which definitely should be in the classpath). If
you agree with me, that you wouldn't put the ~gwt.xml file directly in
the classpath, then the message is misleading and confusing, in my
opinion.
