Note that it's more efficient to bundle your destinations in groups of 12, and request a route that goes back and forth: X,A,X,B,X,C,X,D,X,E,X,F,X,G,X,H,X,I,X,J,X,K,X,L When the result comes back, read the distances from the odd numbered GSteps. This allows you to obtain 12 distances with each GDirections request.
