Hi All, I'm working on a map about interesting places to visit in Mongolia. I have many GPS points I want to add on the map, each time with a picture. So people interested in travelling to Mongolia can download the GPS point and visit that place.
You can see the start of this project on the following link: http://www.happycamel.com/gmap-alltourslast.htm I'm new with maps API, so I have some questions: First I would like to have customize icons. An icon for the temples, an icon for the caves, etc... I don't know how to change the code so that I can have a icon for the different GPS points. Some icons will be used on different GPS points. Second is that I would like to have a side menue where people can select the things they are interested in. Maybe some people want to see deerstones. They click on deerstones and all the GPS points of deerstones appear on teh map. You can see an example of this here: http://www.cnrfc.noaa.gov/google_temp.php If somebody could send me the right code to do this, it would be great. I will save a lot of time. I'm now looking arround trying to find a solution, but it's just difficult. I really hope somebody can help me out. I have no problem to write down my page the names of peopel helping me out with a link to their webpage. Thanks and hope on positive answers.
