This is one for Pamela. The Mail Archive only remove postings on the request of the original Group owner. "Don't forget any non-disclosure agreements! Even if you remove a posting with a company-specific URL, it will have been indexed for searching [in the main Google web search] and will have been emailed to group members. You can disguise URLs (see point number 1 in the box above)" That doesn't help you now, of course; but hopefully this will reinforce the issue for others and it may be possible to do something to help correct your error.
