GeoXml would require a serverside... proxy to decode kmz into kml ... it 
would be
an independent enhancement I have considered building but havent. I 
would build
 it to work with EGeoXml too if I did.

KMZ are just zipped kml (literally using the zip file format) with 
images in sub folders. Clientside
javascript unzipping not feasible.
