If you give someone the actual URL of your MyMap, they don't need to log 
in. For example, this is a MyMap

Or you could just generate a KML file on a webhost that the Google 
servers can access and use a URL like this:

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=http://econym.org.uk/gmap/example1.kml
